
MINDFUL MASSAGE
A guided massage experience that brings body and mind into the present moment.
Mindful Massage is a unique massage therapy experience that combines hands-on bodywork with continuous, gentle mindfulness guidance. Throughout the session, you receive a full massage while being verbally guided to place your attention on breath, sound, smell, sensation in the body and awareness of mind.
This is not a silent massage with a few cues sprinkled in. The guidance is woven through the entire session, with natural pauses that allow you to practice on your own before being gently guided again.
I developed Mindful Massage by combining my work as an RMT with my background in Buddhist studies and long-term mindfulness and meditation practice, creating a space where physical touch and awareness work together.
